Cookie Policy

FIDEI.PL COOKIE POLICY

Effective date: 20 October 2026

§ 1. General information

1. https://fidei.pl is operated by Wydawnictwo FIDEI s.c. Krystyna Kamińska, Wanda Zagórska, ul. Truskawiecka 5, 02-929 Warsaw, Poland; wydawnictwo@fidei.pl.

2. Cookies are small items of information stored on the user's device and read by the browser. Similar technologies include browser local storage and identifiers used by scripts.

3. Access to or storage of information on devices is governed by Article 399 of Poland's Electronic Communications Law and applicable personal data protection rules.

§ 2. Categories and purposes

1. Strictly necessary cookies may be used for the shopping basket, sessions, checkout, privacy preferences and security. To the extent strictly necessary for a service expressly requested by the user, separate consent is not required.

2. Functional, analytics and marketing technologies, if introduced and not covered by a statutory exception, will be activated only after valid prior consent.

3. Google reCAPTCHA is used or contemplated to protect forms against spam and abuse. Depending on its setup, it may access or store device identifiers and transmit information to Google. Whether a particular implementation requires consent must be assessed before activation; where consent is required, the tool must not start beforehand. This notice alone is not consent.

4. Third-party providers may have their own privacy notices. See the Store's Privacy Policy for the processing of personal data.

§ 3. Consent management

1. On the first visit, users can accept or reject non-essential technologies and choose categories where used. Refusing optional technologies does not prevent normal shopping functionality.

2. Users can change or withdraw their choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Withdrawal does not retrospectively affect lawful prior processing.

3. Cookies can also be deleted or blocked using browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may interfere with the basket or checkout.

4. Inactivity or merely scrolling the page does not constitute consent to non-essential cookies.

§ 4. Cookie list and retention

1. A current list of cookies actually deployed (name, provider, purpose, category and duration) is shown in “Cookie settings” and must reflect the website's actual scripts.

2. Session cookies generally expire at the end of a session; persistent cookies operate until their configured expiry or deletion by the user. Exact periods are shown in the settings panel.

3. If analytics, advertising or other technologies are introduced, the description and category details will be updated before activation.

§ 5. Contact and amendments

1. Questions about cookies or privacy may be sent to wydawnictwo@fidei.pl.

2. This Policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes. Updates do not replace legally required user consent.
